Job Description:

Port City BPO is a fast growing organization looking for a dynamic and resilient Finance Manager who is passionate about automation, financial efficiency, and driving continuous improvement across the organization.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast paced environment, have strong change management capabilities, and be able to work closely with multiple stakeholders to support both commercial and corporate objectives.


Job Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Commercial and Corporate Finance teams, providing clear direction, guidance, and support to drive team performance
  • Oversee Finance Operations including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and financial reporting, ensuring compliance with internal controls, SOPs, and statutory requirements
  • Lead the preparation of timely and accurate management reports, board presentations, statutory accounts, annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis
  • Manage cash flow, liquidity, funding requirements, and overall financial planning
  • Ensure compliance with Sri Lanka Accounting Standards, tax regulations, statutory requirements, and internal governance frameworks
  • Coordinate with auditors, regulators, legal teams, and other key stakeholders on finance and compliance matters
  • Monitor organizational risks and support the implementation of appropriate mitigation strategies, business continuity, and disaster recovery plans
  • Drive automation, ERP implementation, process improvements, and finance transformation initiatives to improve efficiency and accuracy
  • Lead change management initiatives and promote a culture of continuous improvement within the Finance function
  • Develop and mentor the Finance team through effective leadership, coaching, and continuous feedback


Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, complemented by a full professional qualification and membership with CA, ACCA, CIMA, or an equivalent professional body
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive finance experience, including at least 5 years in a managerial or team leadership role
  • Strong experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, statutory compliance, and risk management
  • Proven ability to lead teams and work effectively with senior management and multiple stakeholders
  • Strong interest and experience in finance automation, ERP systems, and process transformation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and advanced Excel with strong analytical and reporting capabilities
  • Comprehensive knowledge of accounting standards, tax regulations, and governance practices
  • Strong communication, change management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced and evolving business environment
